Sometimes you will require to format Pen Drive in NTFS file system, this requirement arises when you want to carry a large file that is bigger than 4 GB , because FAT32 do not supports files bigger than 4GB.
So if you have a pen drive with more than 4 GB capacity and want to carry a file that is bigger than 4 GB then you have to use NTFS.

Tip To convert pen drive File System to NTFS:

• Simple when you will try to format it to NTFS File System then you will not get NTFS option In the window that opens , when you click on format menu after right clicking on drive.

• Open My Computer > Properties > HardWare > Device Manager > Disk Drives

• Right Click on your pen drive here.

• select properties

• In the Policies tab select 'Optimize For Performance'.

• An option for NTFS file System is now added to the format window.

Everyone likes Putty and uses it. But the main thing everyone wants is tabs in Putty. This is very easy to use tabs in Putty with Putty Connection Manager . Here are the steps to see tabs :

• Download Putty Connection Manager . There is a download section in bottom of this page, you can download Standalone Executable or Setup from here i prefer first one, but note you must have .NET 2.0 installed to use this .
  
• Run it and set Putty executable path you were using before.

• Now you are ready to use tabs with Putty open up this Putty Connection Manager.
• Click on the the server names in right column , new tab will open every time you will click on that.
